Rebozo is a traditional Mexican wrap that is used to support and comfort pregnant women, particularly during labor and delivery. The use of the Rebozo allows us to help gently lift the belly relieving some of the weight on the pregnant person's body.
A Message to the family! I am here in support, my role in this delivery is not to replace any person involved with bringing this bundle of joy into the world. My role is to help make sure the birthing person is comfortable, hydrated, and being heard during all the chaos.
When able we will be getting up moving around and changing positions safely. You may see us dancing the baby out or standing and rocking these are proven methods.
Dancing can help you manage any pain or discomfort. Moving your body can help to release endorphins, which are the body's natural painkillers. Endorphins help to make labor more manageable and can even make you feel euphoric.
